How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Seriously, I still can't even believe it myself!!
Unfortunatly I have no pics of the concert to share at all, since security were being annoying and not letting anyone in the first 2 rows get pics -YES I WAS IN THE FRONT ROW! It was SO GOOD!!!
I'm gonna say it was the best night of my life so far!

I met them all & got a signed setlist, pics with each guy & a legendary Eicca hug! (which even after all of

's descriptions of awe, really did live up to expectation!

Also picked up one of the touring tshirts (Australia & some Asia shows) it's a really nice one

And if that's not enough news to share, last week I saw Slash ft Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators live! For those paying attention, this was my 2nd time seeing Myles this year

They also put on a great show (if not quite as awesome or personal as the Apocalyptica one -especially not coz I was so far away) but it was still heaps of fun!

Update on my art atm, I haven't really been doing anything aside from the occasional doodle in some of my lecture books with my friends (I should upload some of them some time soon though, there's some great ones

) but of my VCE art work from last year, I have recieved an award for Apocalypse Concerto (this one: [link] which my art teacher submitted into an art competition for students between the ages of 12 and 18. I won 3rd prize in my category (mixed media), which I'm very surprised & happy with!

Anddd finally, I'm sorry I haven't been on DA much. At all. For like 6 months. Uni life has really caught hold of me!

They were in my city a few months ago, but I didn't realize it until like, a week before the concert because we drove by a poster downtown...me and my friend both went "I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE COMING HERE AUUUGH!" Oh goodness, I've never been to a metal concert before. It was so crazy and amazing, I loved it so much. Yeah, I probably would have been a bit too intimidated to say hello to them XD they're too awesome! Which was your favourite song? I just... that last song in the encore when they played their cover of 'Hall of the Mountain King' I.. I... I think I almost fainted. I have never witnessed such a out of this world thing with my eyes before or heard such amazing playing. I just... I cannot describe what I witnessed..

Though I'm probably more partial to Seek & Destroy which is always a killer live one. And Nothing Else Matters, so amazing with all the crowd singing!

And that little bit of Thunderstruck they did at the beginning of Hall of the Mountain King. I just love it how they customize it to every place they visit. Makes every concert more unique
